Sea buckthorn fruit oil is extracted from the orange berries of Hippophae rhamnoides. It contains a distinctive combination of omega-3, omega-6, omega-7 and omega-9 fatty acids and is particularly rich in palmitoleic acid, also known as omega-7. The oil also contains naturally occurring carotenoids, tocopherols and plant sterols. Its carotenoids give the oil — and FACIAL CREME 01 — its characteristic warm, golden colour.
